Firecon Fire Fighting Equip Maint & Fixing LLC is a leading Fire Protection, Engineering, Supply and service Company in UAE.

Fire Alarm system

Fire Alarm System is designed to alert us to an emergency so that we can take action to protect ourselves, staff and the general public. The fire alarm system may also incorporate  a  remote signal system which could then alert the fire brigade via a central station. The unit can  also  be set  up to  simulate  an  alarm  for use  in routine  Fire and evacuation drills, so all  staff knows what action to take in the event of a real fire.  Different types of fire alarm devices are Smoke detector,  Heat detector,  C O detector, Multi Sensor detector,  Manual Call Points, Sounders/Beacons.

Voice Evacuation Control Panel

Fire alarm voice evacuation system uses speakers and ampli• fiers to notify occupants with an alarm tone followed  by a voice instead of the traditional horn  or  bell. Also provides ability for live voice announcementsby the fire department or emergency personnel through a local paging microphone

Emergency Lighting system

Emergency lighting is a vital and effective life safety tool, providing  reassurance  and guidance to people at critical times when they need to escape  quickly and safely from a building.

Emergency lighting can be implemented by different ways:

  • A centrally supplied  emergency and exit lighting system
  • Self – contained emergency and exit lights.
  • Central monitoring emergency  and exit lighting system.

Fire fighting systems

A fire fighting  system designed  by a specialist provides  the best possible  protection for people and property. In the case of a fire, it will minimize the damage. Our engineers always choose the right kind of automatic extinguishing  system and suppression agent for each particular case on the basis of the fire load, type of premises and the activities carried out in them.

Fire Extinguisher system

Everyone  knows that their workplace  is required  to have fire extinguisher(s), and everyone  should know where the nearest one is.  However,  most do not realize that a single fire extinguisher does not work on all types of fire. There are many different types, or classes, of fire extinguishers just as there are many different classes of fire.

To achieve true safety for your place of work, you need to ensure that you have the proper extinguisher installed relevant for the potential  fire hazards  for your building.

When it comes to the types of fire extinguishers, there are five main types including wet chemical,CO2, dry powder, foam and water

Fire Hose Reel System

Fire hose reels are located to provide a reasonably accessible and controlled supply of water to combat a potential fire risk. The length of a fully extended fire hose is 30 meters with a diameter of 25mm.

These appliances  are designed to deliver,  as a minimum,  0.33L of water per second. A control  nozzle attached  to the end of the hose enables  the operator to control  the direction and flow of water to the fire. All fire hose reels come with a unique ball valve shut-off device, a plastic or solid brass hose reel nozzle and mounting bracket

Sprinkler systems

The sprinkler system is an  automatic fire-extinguishing system the primary task of which is to put out a fire once it has been detected. At the same time, the sprinkler system sends  an emergency   message  to a predetermined location, such  as a regional  emergency response center .  The individual sprinkler heads are connected to a water  supply  system and,  in a fire,  react toan elevated  temperature and start spraying water in to the room.

Deluge water spray systems

A deluge fire protection system has unpressurized dry piping and open nozzle heads. The system is directly connected  to a water  supply and when the system  is activated, a deluge valve will release the water to all the open nozzle heads. The valve is opened when activated by a detection system. Deluge systems are used in high hazard areas such as power plants, aircraft hangars, and chemical  plants.  These  systems  are very  effective in hazardous areas because they release water or another fire suppressant to all the open sprinkler heads simultane• ously. This total flood method douses a fire before it has the chance to grow uncontrollably.

Gaseous fire suppression systems

Clean Agent fire extinguishing systems are typically used to protect three  dimensional  enclosures  containing high  value assets that are vital  for business continuity,  and assets that cannot be protected by traditional sprinkler systems due to the potential for water damage. Typical examples of system appli• cations include telecommunication facilities, clean rooms, data processing centres and museums.

Foam-based extinguishing systems

Foam is  typically  the fire  suppression  agent  of choice  in situa• tions where combustible or flammable liquid is stored in tanks or bulk storage  facilities. It is especially  effective when the flamma• ble liquid has a surface where  the foam  can be applied. Unlike water, which is heavier than most flammable  liquids and will sink ineffectively  to the bottom, fire suppressing  foam  is lighter and will  rise to the top.  There,  it  creates  a blanket  on the surface, reducing  vapor formation, preventing  oxygen  from reaching  the combustible  liquid and effectively  smothering  the potential fire.

Fire Pumps

Fire pumps are a crucial part of an applications water supply and are powered by electricity or diesel   They activate when the pressure in the fire sprinkler systems falls beneath a certain level and provide water flow at a very high pressure to the sprinkler system, which is then disposed onto the fire. Various types of fire pumps  are used  in fire protection  systems. Types  of fire pumps include: horizontal split case, vertical split case, vertical in – line, vertical turbine, and end suction.

Fire Hydrant system

Being one of the oldest  but yet the  most effective  and common fire fighting solution, a well designed  and a well laid out Hydrant System  forms  the backbone  of the entire fire fighting  system. It comprises of heavy duty above & underground piping with acces• sories. External and Fire Escape Hydrant valves are provided  at every strategic location. A fire hydrant  is a pipe that allows water to flow from a water main with the control of a valve in order to put out a fire.
